+ How do I know if I need an oil change?

Always follow your vehicle manufacturer’s recommended oil change service intervals. With or without obvious symptoms, most vehicle owner manuals suggest frequent oil level checks, replenishment and routine changes based on time and miles driven. There are a variety of obvious signs that you may need an oil change, for example: Irregular engine noise; low or discolored oil condition, excessive oil discharge from the exhaust pipes; shaking or ticking noises from under the hood; or any dashboard indicators signalling low oil or maintenance service.

+ Why do I need an oil change?

Proper engine lubrication results in longer engine life and consistent performance. If your engine is not properly lubricated, the metal components of your engine generate friction that causes accelerated wear, overheating, and premature failure.

+ How long will it take?

A standard vehicle oil change can take anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes.

+ How often should I change my oil?

Always follow your vehicle manufacturer’s recommended oil change service intervals. On most modern cars, this can range from every 5,000 to 15,000 miles, with frequent checks in between to maintain a safe oil level as cars normally consume their oil during this time.
